Membership Categories and Rates
Doctor - A person who has earned a recognized doctorate degree (DC, DDS, DMD, DNSC, DPM, DO, DOM, DSC, MD, ND*, PharmD, PhDNP, PsyD or their equivalent) in medicine and is currently licensed to practice their profession by the applicable licensing or examining board. (*ND's who have been trained by one of the seven accredited schools in the American Association of Naturopathic Medical Colleges may join in the Doctor category.) $335. First-year physicians have the option of joining at a reduced rate of $150.
Practitioner - A person who is a licensed (or license-eligible) healthcare provider, such as an acupuncturist, hypnotherapist, massage therapist, mental or social health worker, nurse, psychologist, etc. $185.
Retired/disabled doctor - A person who has been an active physician/doctor member and has retired or is disabled from active medical practice. $150.
Intern/resident - A person serving an internship or residency at a properly accredited hospital or medical facility. $65.
Medical student - A person enrolled in a full-time training program at a recognized accredited school of medicine, osteopathic or naturopathic medical college. $40/year or $80/ for 4 years. AMSA/NMSA/SOMA Member – $20/year.
Full-time, non-medical student - Undergraduates carrying 12 or more credits, or practitioner members who are students as part of a licensure program. $30.
Friend of the AHMA - Any other person who aligns with the concepts and philosophies of holistic medicine and would like to support efforts to transform healthcare. $100.
Second office - This service enables current members to add a second office location to the Doctor Finder, Practitioner Finder and Membership Directory. $50.
