Bernie Siegel, M.D. is widely known as an author, speaker and patient advocate and supporter. He attended Colgate University and Cornell University Medical College and graduated with honors. In 1989, Bernie retired from Yale New Haven Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor of General and Pediatric Surgery to speak to patients, their families and caregivers. In May 2011, he was honored by the Watkins Review of London, England, as one of the Top 20 Spiritually Influential Living People on the Planet. Bernie has written 12 books, the latest, "A Book of Miracles" was released in September, 2011.
